Chocolate Jargon:
These terms appear a lot on our site - here's what they mean:
Ganache - A mixture of chocolate, cream and butter, which is either rolled in cocoa powder to make a truffle, or enrobed in a shell of harder chocolate.
Gianduja - finely ground nuts and sugar mixed with plain or milk chocolate.
Praline - similar to Gianduja, but with a coarser texture and usually coated in plain or milk chocolate. Originally, pralines were made with hazelnuts, but the term now includes almost any filling with a high nut content.
