Did You Know? Chocolate should not be kept in the refrigerator, because it is too cold and humid, and chocolate easily absorbs smells and flavours from the other foods. Chocolate straight from the fridge does not melt in the mouth, and lacks it's full flavour. The ideal temperature for storage is 15-20°C (60-68°F). If chocolate gets too warm, the cocoa butter can separate and come to the surface causing a greyish white "bloom" - this does not affect the flavour, and the chocolate is perfectly safe to eat. Our chocolates are stored and packed in an air-conditioned environment, to ensure that they are always kept fresh and in perfect condition.
